Hollywood actress, Alicia Silverstone is one person who makes sure that nothing goes wrong when it comes to endorsing a product. Â The actress, known for her animal-rights and her environmental activism, has joined hands with EcoTools to launch a line of eco- and wallet-friendly cosmetics brushes and totes by year’s end.

Made with natural hemp materials and lined with recycled PET, the eco-friendly cosmetics are Silverstone tried and tested. “I even spilled soy sauce on one, threw it in the washer and it turned out great,” she tells.

This comes a limited-edition collection, which will be available from December through 2010 and features a printed bouquet of Silverstone’s favourite flowers (lavender, rose, chrysanthemum, thyme), along with hangtags printed on tree-free stone paper.
