Beyoncé Knowles announced her fragrance “Heat” to launched soon. She will join the elite celebrity perfume trend. The singer has teamed up with fragrance giant Coty to develop a new scent named Heat.
The perfume, which is set for release in February, is said to feature elements of red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli and blush peach. Though Coty has largely handled Heat’s development while Beyoncé was on tour, the singer says she has often worn the fragrance herself and has received glowing reviews.
“Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials - that’s me,” the pop star said. “When I commit to something, I do it 100 per cent.”
She added, “I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty has their own testing, but that was my testing!”
February may be the opportune time to launch the new fragrance, just days after the 2010 Grammys, where Beyoncé will be competing for awards in ten categories.
